Preparing for the biggie...

Jo Mills' exhibition "Glimpses Through The Looking Glass" ended on Saturday and so now the gallery is awating entries for the CLUB exhibition. For the time being, until selection has taken place, the gallery will be the holding area for the submitted work.

At this point, its almost impossible to guess just how many entries we'll have but the final selection will be (depending on size of images) somewhere between 25-35. THE CLUB has 40 members with many different interests and so I'm quite excited about what might be submitted.

I'll post more details of this, our biggest exhibition yet, very soon.

Generally, the gallery's calendar is now almost fully reserved for the first few months of 2011, with some very diverse and interesting work scheduled to appear. Confirmed shows include: Mary Davis, Rosemary Cooper, and the Gareth Jukes' street photography exhibition he's calling "Chaos".

Finally, I saw this scene on the way home from the studio on Sunday - it's the half-demolished flats at Ladywood. I stopped and took a few shots with a view to using them to demo HDR for my Botanical Gardens Advanced class.
